Symmetry

2009.10.08

I often look at this view of Chichester Cathedral and admire the symmetry of the central tower (just below the spire) from this angle. As I walked past this morning the quality of light on it was beautiful so I grabbed a few shots with my 50mm lens. I’ve slightly corrected the perspective and decided it worked best as a monochrome image to focus the eye on the architectural lines.

Lynda The black and white seems to emphasis the texture as well as the lines.
