I was really lacking in inspiration today until I remembered a red pepper I had languishing in the fridge. My first inclination was to use a thin slice but when I cut into it I realised the seeds might add something to the shot. I cut a thick slice, including the seeds and set about experimenting with different compositions. This shot, my first attempt, jumped off the screen at me when I got them onto my computer.
