I spotted this view as I drove between schools this afternoon and stopped to take a few shots. I like the way the trees in the distance have a mottled appearance with the bare branches of the deciduous trees among the greenery of the evergreens. While there have been some first signs that spring is on the way (the crocuses in our windowbox are just beginning to flower) this part of the Sussex landscape is very much still in its winter plumage.
