The Tuesday Inspiration: and the theme is…

When Dorothe (Wasichseh) set this week’s Tuesday theme I was really at a loss as to what I might shoot for it. However, during the intervening days I remembered a four leaf clover that a friend gave to me about twenty years ago. At the time I put it in my flower press to preserve it so all I needed to do was to find said flower press. Amazingly, even after several house moves during the two decades I found I fairly easily and my clover was still safely stashed away, although now looking rather dry and elderly!

In Britain a four leaf clover is supposed to bring you lots of good ….. (insert today’s theme if you’ve worked it out yet!) thanks to its rarity. I have absolutely no idea if the same is true in other countries and cultures. I tried two different treatments of my RAW file – one in colour and one in monochrome – but couldn’t decide which I liked best. I therefore thought I’d post both and let you all decide which is best!

The following people may also be participating in today’s theme:

CathyB
Djnana
Firehorsecri
GKorts
Ignelson
Jan03
Jarvo
KellyBee322
Lynda
Matteahmb
MoMac
Nellinka
Revenant
Ryana

lgnelson I thought I might find one of these at Walmart (getting ready for St. Patrick's Day), but then I already had six shots for the theme. Nice post!

revenant And the theme is... grazing (fits the context admirably). I can tell you the same idea is used in France and Switzerland (all languages), but I have no idea about Greece, possibly because clover with any leaves at all is a rarity in the parts I know.

BTW, it's a good idea to add the data in your links but they sometimes throw you out when contributors haven't posted on that day, as I've just found out.
