Colour and chrome
Today has been a very varied one which didn’t end as I expected. I started off by visiting Southampton for a photography show that the London Camera Exchange were running in a local hotel. I resisted the temptation to spend lots of money but I did get a good deal on an arctic butterfly cleaning kit. I no longer have any excuses for having a dirty camera sensor! While I was in Southampton I took a few architectural shots but nothing that really got me excited. However, when I got home Kevin suggested we pop up to Goodwood Motor Circuit as there was a pre-1966 track day going on. There were lots of lovely shiny old cars there and when I took this shot of the boot hinges of an MG I knew I’d found my image for the day – I just love its simplicity and minimalism.
