I set out for school a little earlier than usual this morning so I could take some photos in the warm early morning light. I stopped off first at Harting Down to take some photos of the village of South Harting in the valley below. The village has something of a split personality as physically it is in West Sussex but for postal purposes it is in Hampshire as its postal town in Petersfield. Having taken my shot there I then continued my journey to school, stopping briefly to capture the signpost which welcomed me to the county of Hampshire, just a couple of miles beyond South Harting.

I’m not sure today’s photos will be enough for anyone to guess today’s theme but perhaps the information above will help! Thanks to Sandra (Ryana) for setting today’s theme. Helen, I really love the first shot - I like nothing better than a beautiful green field. I enlarged it and enjoyed every facet of the scene! Thanks for the comment on my "carved in wood" post, too.
