Today’s weathered theme took a bit more hunting down than I’d expected – I think the painters and decorators of Chichester have been busy sprucing everything up over the summer. Two of my subjects (the door knob and the knotted string) are spots that I’ve photographed before but I took a different angle and decided to go for the monochrome treatment to really bring out the textures. I found the padlock on the gate to the Bishop’s Palace Gardens and couldn’t resist its rustiness!
