Today’s TI photo was taken just yards away from last week’s shot. When I was taking last Tuesday’s photo I noticed these rather nice curves in the road and it struck me as being a good spot to capture an example of this week’s theme. Luckily there’s a small area for cars to pull in on one side of the road where I could shoot from safely and it was simply a case of waiting for cars to drive up the hill into my composition. It took a while to capture a car at exactly the right spot while keeping the rest of the scene in focus (I was shooting at dangerously slow shutter speeds for hand held photos) but eventually I struck lucky and just at that moment the sun came out, creating some lovely dappled light on the tarmac.
