I was trying out an alternative route between two of my schools today when I remembered a spot I would pass that would be perfect for today’s ‘Ways’ theme. St. Mary’s Church in Funtington has a lovely old wooden lychgate. I started off by taking some wider shots of the whole gate but it was this close up which really jumped off the camera screen at me. It seemed a natural candidate for a monochrome conversion to bring out its wonderful texture.
Thanks to Rachel
(Urmysunshine) for taking over the Mystic1 themes while Tom is away from Photoblog. If everyone tags their contributions you should be able to find a complete list of today’s themed photos here
