Walking on water

I travelled down to Goring-by-Sea this afternoon for a regular conducting engagement with a recorder group there so I stopped off at the beach for beforehand to look for today’s photo. I’ve always had good luck with the light there in the past and today was no exception - the sun was peeping out through the clouds and reflecting rather beautifully off the water. There was a chap paddling around on a surfboard and it looked rather like he was walking on the water. Despite the fact that it was 1.30pm and very bright I exposed for the sky so as to capture the man and the rocky outcrops as silhouettes against the sunkissed sea.
