I've made the most of my day off today, shamelessly enjoying myself rather than writing my school reports. I started off with a trip into Chichester where I had a walk in the park, a spot of retail therapy, a very lunch and, finally, a trip to the cinema to see the latest Harry Potter film. (Incidentally it’s a fab film but do take some tissues ready for the sad bits!) It felt like I was bunking off school going to the cinema during the day, although it was nice not to be surrounded by my pupils as I was at the last HP film I saw!

I found today's photo in Priory Park in Chichester this morning. The sunshine lent a lovely warm glow, although unfortunately it had also melted the frost just enough for me to get muddy knees as I took this. One thing's for sure - the chap who was cleaning the nearby public toilets thought I was completely crazy kneeling down shooting the leaves. He actually said he thought I had my nose so near the ground because my sight was bad!!
