The snow that’s been paralysing the rest of the country finally reached us with a vengeance overnight and we woke up to six inch thick white carpet this morning. Although many of my pupils were unlikely to get into school I felt I ought to make the effort to go so I set of early and walked the two miles to school. On the way I took a few photos, enjoying the unusual sense of peace the snow creates. In the end about a third of my pupils were there so I got some teaching done then took a few more photos around the Cathedral.
