Back in the autumn we harvested the flowers from the lavender bushes in our front garden. After hanging them out to dry in bunches around the house I made up some organza bags filled with the flowers and decorated them with ribbons and beads as Christmas presents. This used up only a small amount of the lavender so I decided to get some more bags today to use the rest. To my surprise I had enough for 20 bags so at least I can be sure that my clothes drawers will always be fragrant now!
