Weathered textures and long legs!
For the first time in several days I finally felt that some fresh air would do me more good than harm so I went for a short stroll in Chichester this afternoon. I felt like travelling light so I took my little Panasonic compact camera with me. As I walked down a side street I encountered some wonderfully weathered paintwork around the latch on a gate, the texture of which I found photographically irresistible. While I was out and about I decided to take a quick look in the park too and I was amazed at the long, sylph-like legs the low afternoon sunshine endowed my shadow with – if only my legs were so long in reality! I got a few funny looks from children in the park as I took this one but who cares – that’s one of the hazards of photography!
