We were due to hold our traditional Christmas Lego Challenge on Boxing Day but it was postponed several times as either myself, Kevin or his brother, Martin, were ill. Yesterday evening we finally had a meal together where we were all healthy and raring to go so we decided it was Lego time. Kevin beat me last year (I’d been the reigning Christmas Lego Champion for several years prior to that) so I was well motivated to win.... and I did! Kevin’s parents decided to go for electric city car kits this year so my prize (a small Mini key ring) was deemed to be the Bright Spark Award. My winning time for assembling the car from scratch was four minutes and two seconds, over a minute faster than either of the others. To celebrate it only seemed right to post a couple of photos of my prize winning car here. I obviously spent far too much of my childhood playing with this stuff!
