Last week I visited Boxgrove Priory to take some photos but my plans were foiled as the church was in use for a funeral. While I was out and about this afternoon I decided to have another try and this time had the building to myself. The minimum of lighting was on and I really kicked myself for not bringing my tripod as the architecture looked magnificent. That will have to wait for yet another occasion! Instead I contented myself with capturing the beautifully weathered handle on the Priory’s main door.
