For today’s bridges theme I headed back to the bridge over the railway which I shot from for the lines theme four weeks ago. It’s an old bridge and has evidently been extended as the railway lines leading west from Chichester have grown over the years. As a result it has a wonderfully higgledy-piggledy feel about it with sections inserted here and there and several changes of level to the deck. One thing’s for sure, it wouldn’t pass any sort of health and safety risk assessment if it was being built now!
