On the way to my rehearsal this afternoon I stopped off briefly at the Highnam Woods RSPB reserve in Gloucestershire. I didn’t have long so I headed straight to the hide to see if there were many birds out and about. Sadly there wasn’t a single bird to be seen so I walked back to the car and spotted these rather beautiful leaves beside the path. I thought the contrast between their red shades and the greenery below was beautiful and I took the opportunity to catch a few frames before I continued my journey to May Hill.
