I really struggled with today’s farm animals theme without a car as I couldn’t get near enough to any to photograph them. However, on my way home from work I started thinking about other ways around the theme and remembered this cuddly toy lamb which sits on the windowsill in my music room. I acquired him some years ago when my friend Phyllida persuaded her children to clear all the unwanted clutter from their bedrooms. The deal was that they would sell their unwanted belongings at a car boot sale and would then share any profits between them. Kevin and I went along to say hello while they were at the sale and I came away with this little lamb who, after a quick cycle in the washing machine to spruce him up, has lived in my music room ever since! I had a few minutes between pupils this afternoon so I took lamb out into the garden and found him a pretty buttercup to contemplate while I took his portrait.
