After a concert this afternoon I was looking forward to listening to the Canadian Grand Prix on the radio while driving home. Sadly rain had stopped play long before I got home so I contented myself with creating my own little bit of Formula One while I waited for the racing to start again. As of this moment, over three hours after the race started, the cars are now back on track following the safety car with 34 laps still to race – I fear this could be the longest F1 race in history!

Post-race note - it was well worth the wait - after 4 hours and nine minutes Jenson Button won! Brilliant race!
