The baby Ring-Tailed Lemurs were absolutely adorable!

I love the expressions of these two - the one in front looks rather studious while the one behind reminds me of Basil Fawlty!
pixel
Peering out from a pile of black and white fluff!

This Red-Bellied Lemur was very happy to pose for portraits.
pixel
This chap is a Crowned Sifaka - he's a natural poser!
pixel
And a bit of thinker too....

He found Sharon's wheelchair very tasty!
pixel
Sharon took this photo - this little fellow left lots of pawprints on my lens hood.

I didn't have much luck with the meerkats this time. This one posed in front of a distracting patch of greenery so I thought I'd try a black and white conversion.

We came across five of these tiny Moorhen chicks - I would imagine they can only be a day or two old. They were distinctly top heavy and kept falling over!

One of the Oriental Short Clawed Otters who, very conveniently, posed for me in some lovely dappled light.

The Black Tailed Prairie Dogs have been very busy this spring - there were babies everywhere. This one kept popping up out of his burrow to check if I was still watching!

I visited the Cotswold Wildlife Park again today with my friend Sharon. Sharon broke her leg at the end of May and she was itching to get out with her camera again after so long being cooped up at home. She can only walk short distances at the moment with crutches so to get round this we borrowed one of the park’s wheelchairs which meant we were able to cover the whole site, even if we did both get rather tired arms pushing and wheeling it over grass and gravel. Photographically, we had the most success in the park’s walk through lemur enclosure. One of the keepers did warn us that the animals would be curious about the wheelchair and she wasn’t joking. One of the baby ring tailed lemurs thoroughly explored underneath it and one of the others gave the wheels a jolly good licking! They were obviously in an exploratory mood today as they were also fascinated by my lens hood and Sharon caught a priceless shot of one of the babies having a feel of it and leaving some tiny little pawprints behind!
