We’ve been enjoying some balmy weather this week, with temperatures of almost 30°C in some parts of the country. It may not technically be an Indian Summer (I think you have to have had some autumn frosts first for that) but it’s certainly been a welcome surprise. To make the most of the weather I popped up to West Dean Gardens
this afternoon. By the time I got there the sun was beginning to drop lower in the sky, creating some beautiful backlighting in parts of the walled gardens.
