Every Thursday when I visit Bedales School I have the pleasure of seeing these two young ladies – Ebony and Teaka. They belong to Sheila, our wonderful Music School administrator who keeps us peripatetic teachers organised and makes the department work with great efficiency. Ebony and Teaka spend their days sitting patiently under her desk in return for regular walks around the school grounds. They’re always pleased to see friendly faces, students and staff, and I make a point of popping to say hello and to make a fuss of them every time I’m at school. They’ve both appeared on my blog before, although not since May 2010
when Teaka was a tiny puppy. I thought it was time they appeared again so we had an impromptu photo session during a few spare minutes between pupils this afternoon.
