We’ve spent today with Kevin’s parents which meant it was time for the most important competition of the year – the Christmas Lego Challenge! Every year Kevin’s parents buy three matching Lego vehicles which Kevin, his brother Martin and I put together against the clock and against each other. I evidently spent too much of my childhood playing with Lego as I almost always win – and today was no exception. I smashed last year’s record time by completing my Moon Buggy in three minutes and twenty five seconds – a full thirty seven seconds faster than in 2010!

Helen, this is such a cool tradition. I love it! Such concentration. I want you to know that I just rushed out to the Toy's R Us store and purchased this same toy.I completed it in two minutes and 51 seconds. It was a snap. Elementary really.
