Kevin and I visited the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton today on our way to a brass band contest nearby. We’ve been to quite a few air museums over the years and the one thing they all seem to have in common is really dim lighting which is far from conducive of good photography. Not to be deterred, I ramped my ISO up to 6400 and looked for shots which would work in spite of the gloom. In the end my favourite photos came from the final hall where they house one of the original Concorde prototypes. You can walk through the plane and it’s astonishing how much computer equipment was required to record the results of the aircraft’s test flights – no less than twelve tons of it! Of course all of the data they recorded back in the 1960s could now be contained on one single laptop computer – how technology changes.....

alison OMG - I'm impressed at the clarity with the ISO set at 6400. Love the cockpit...and the furry seat covers!
