When Kevin and I went for a walk in Bosham at the beginning of January we were very surprised to find daffodils already in full bloom beside the millstream. The ones in our garden have taken a little longer to flower and it’s only this week that they’ve begun to bloom, no doubt helped by the unseasonably mild weather. Given that today has been another overcast, grey day I decided to inject a little sunshine by shooting one of the daffs in our kitchen window box for today’s ‘outside beauty’ theme. The window frame behind didn’t really add to the photo so I stuck some white card up behind my chosen flower to create a very simple, clean picture.
