As I wandered around the supermarket this afternoon buying the coming week’s food I found myself pondering what I could use as the subject for my daily photo. As I picked up a pack of fusilli pasta it occurred to me that I might just have found my subject. I decided to take a close up and as I position the pasta on the windowsill the sun came out, shining through it and creating some lovely shadows. Given the strong lines in the image it seemed a good choice to convert to black and white.
