Early morning run
My work took me to Seaford in East Sussex today so I set off a little early to allow time for a quick walk along the promenade beforehand. The temperature was positively balmy and the skies blue but sadly it was also very hazy so sweeping seascapes were a complete non-starter. Instead I looked out for interesting characters to photograph. As I stopped to take a photo of a chap who was checking out his own photos on a seaside bench I noticed a jogger running into the frame so I delayed pressing the shutter for a second or two until she was in a suitable spot. As she ran past me I turned to follow her route and noticed an elderly man walking slowly along the promenade so I took one more frame to contrast her speed with his complete lack of speed. Feeling content that I’d caught something that might work as my daily photo I set off back into the town centre to spend my day waving my arms at a group of recorder players, leaving the rest of the Seaford’s population to enjoy the sunshine.
