I spotted this blue door while I was in Emsworth today and liked way its strong colour contrasts with the pristine white wall and the yellow daffodils in the pot outside. I couldn’t quite decide how much detail to bring out in the wall but I think I’ve struck the right balance here without distracting from the door itself.
