There’s a bridge across the railway lines on the outskirts of Chichester which I planned photograph for today’s stairs theme. However, as I walked across it to reach the steps on the far side I noticed a chap sitting in the freight yard below, loitering on the stairs of his portacabin smoking a cigarette. I managed to catch just one frame before he went back inside – talk about split second timing! I did take some shots of the bridge too but this shot just seemed to say something more interesting to me than a simple flight of stairs.
