When I arrived at Lavant House School this morning I was very pleased to discover that one of the girls had left her violin in my teaching room so I had the perfect opportunity to take a photo for today’s stringed instruments theme. I had my macro lens with me so I decided to focus on the bridge and I was rather pleased with the way its pattern reflects in the shiny body of the violin.
