Not quite the Kinks' Waterloo Sunset but I rather liked the sense of layering in this shot of Waterloo Bridge. I timed it carefully to place the buses between the city's landmarks.
|
Two of the many buildings we passed on the river bus. I like the juxtaposition of the decorative and simple architectural styles.

Part of the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, now occupied by my old college, Trinity College of Music.

Part of James Thornhill's mural on the west wall of the Painted Hall. These figures represent the grandchildren of King George I.

Great set Helen. I love Greenwich, I think it's a fantastic place. Unfortunately I spend too much time around Embankment to enjoy it.

Fantastic set and I have added number 1 to my favs. I have been teaching the kids at work a little about London and we were painting London buses last week.Wish I'd had your photo to show as it is brilliant!

I like this eclectique and instructive set. The architecture, the colors and the light are splendid. I put the last one in my favorites for the grand perspective and the solitude (contemplative?) of this man on the bench
