I found this solitary Lego brick on the steps of Edes House in Chichester as I arrived to accompany a pupil in a concert last Thursday. It struck me as being a very odd place to leave such an item so I picked it up, thinking it might make an interesting photo sometime. I decided its time had come today and felt it would look best shot against a contrasting yellow background. Judging by all the scratches it’s a very well used piece of Lego – no doubt its previous owner built lots of interesting constructions with it!

karmankwarner Wonderful contrast, it appears to be well loved. :) I usually find those with the bottom of my feet in the middle of the night.

LAZYWASP Is it the first brick....the last brick ...or just another brick in the wall?
Wonderful shot...:)

Nellinka I've read somewhere that Lego is the most ingenious game in the world. If this piece could tell us tales... =)))

Melusine Great arrangement, the blue brick against yellow background.
Surely I have built lots of Lego, mostly together with my youngest son who has his room full :)
