Today is supposedly the longest day of the year and the official start to summertime, although you’d be hard pushed to know that by looking outside. Since about 6.30 this evening it’s been getting darker and darker, with ever more threatening rain clouds and high winds – to be honest it seems more like November than mid-June! To reflect the topsy-turvy conditions it seemed rather appropriate to shoot an atmospheric candlelit shot for today’s post. Let’s just hope this isn’t as good as it gets for the British summer this year!
