My new best friend - a female Australian Wood Duck. What a sweetie she was to put up with me looming over her with my camera!

There were lots of Mallard ducklings around the centre, from only a few days old to almost adult. I love the quizzical look this one is giving me!

This Tufted Duck was swimming along in front of the boat I was riding in. He eventually got fed up of paddling furiously and took off!

Wow, all excellent shots - all super sharp and nicely composed! Haha....for some reason the way that duck is looking right at us/you in #4 just makes me laugh! Last one is funny, too :) Wonderful post, Helen!
