I managed to take one session off this afternoon and went for a brief stroll around the grounds with my camera. There are lots of beautiful flowers in bloom in the Hothorpe gardens at the moment but photographing them proved to be something of a challenge as there was quite a gusty wind. By the time I’d finished my walk Diego, the resident dog, had taken up his usual spot beside the back door to the kitchen so I couldn’t resist catching a quick photo of him as he lolled peacefully on the warm concrete ramp.
