I’ve been working like a mad thing today to get all my prep work done for the Recorder Summer School which starts this Saturday. I did pop out to run a few errands this afternoon, including a trip to Bognor Regis to visit my optician. While I was there I took a few minutes out to sit on the pebbly beach in the sunshine and I was amazed at the number of people milling around on the pier – it was quite evidently the place to be, especially if you own a fishing rod!
