With an hour free this afternoon and the sun shining I needed no further excuse to go and say hello to the Bishop Burton meerkats. As I walked up to their enclosure, camera in hand, a couple of them hopped up onto various perches and posed obligingly for me as if to say, “Oh hello, you’ve come to see us again!”
