Guarding the choir

We had an afternoon off today so I popped into Beverley for my annual visit to the Minster, armed with my camera of course. I spent some time photographing the gargoyles but it was this dragon that caught my eye the most. He was sitting on the end of one of the choir stalls, grinning widely, and I can just imagine him keeping a surreptitious eye on the choristers as they rehearse around him for the Minster’s services.

josy63 A perfect B&W! I imagine the effect which he could make on choristers of time formerly :)
