During my long journey home this afternoon I stopped briefly for a snooze in a lay-by on the A43. Afterwards I got out of the car to have a stretch and noticed this little chap scurrying across the tarmac, carrying a piece of wood which seemed impossibly big for such a small beetle. I wonder where he was taking it?
