I had the pleasure of collecting my Dad’s finished recorder from him this morning and it only seemed right to feature it here this evening. In common with all my Dad’s creations it’s a beautiful piece of work – finished with total attention to detail and a joy to handle. I now have to play it in (wooden recorders have to be carefully acclimatised to the moisture in your breath) so I’m going to enjoy playing it each day and seeing how it develops as I do so. Thank you Dad for my lovely recorder!
