After the dire weather last night today turned out to be a fine, sunny day so I made the most of it and went for a stroll around the gardens here at West Dean after lunch. I concentrated on the walled garden and, as well as finding lots of interesting plants to shoot, I made friends with the garden’s cat. He’s obviously a long term resident as he has a house inside one of the sheds and a fleecy bed positioned in the corner of one of the greenhouses!
