This kid,Joseph,at the time we met was high,he told me that he was 6 years old, but who knows, he could be 8 or 9.so we sat there in the streets talking about life, his life, not that we could not talk about my life.He told me he has no parents, something i investigated and found to be true.Once i had finished with him i went to the Child Protection Unit at the central police station here in Nakuru to get to know how this lad can get help.At the CPU,i found very kind ladies who not only motivated me on what i was and still doing but also gave me all the guidelines on what to do in order to help Joseph. They asked me to get the boy into their station. So me and my bicycle and my camera,we went back again to find our boy and at least try to persuade him to accompany us.Once we4 found him,he refused to accompany us,saying that at the children's home, he was told that they do all nature of work including cutting glass.I was so sad that i did not achieve my goals for that day,i swore to try all i could to help him.So i investigated again whether it was true that at the children home they were given hard jobs to do, i found out that it was a fallacy or a lie.so i am back in the streets, this boy has no mind to think what is good for himself now,so i will use all that i have to get him a decent life and probably one day he will realize how lucky he was.Joseph wants to be a pilot.
