how many??? It's more than the number of the plates. It's the entire equation!

sushi+fast service = sushi bar (fast food, the Japanese way!)

Sushiro is one place that helps me relate more to my students who speak of sushi with gusto. It's a sushi bar (kaiten-zushi) that has become the latest craze in this small part of the world where I live.
Inquiring about how many plates my students had on their most recent visit to this food haven has proven to be a useful warm-up question in class. Now they can count up to a hundred in English!
But indeed it is a fun eating experience. It's almost hypnotic even. Maybe it's the conveyor belt with all the deliciously prepared sushi that run along the tables all over the place or the smell of rice and seafood, or the sound of plates as they pile up (the sky's the limit!) or the happy chatter of people. I don't know. All I know is that I'm gonna visit again. No alcohol for me, just sushi in a sushi bar so I can keep a mental note of how many plates I had!!!

angil I think my cholesterol has just skyrocketed. Fortunately, here it's only 10 o'clock and I'm not very hungry. Very good report about sushi and other things,
