In Velvet

We saw this albino buck about 20 minutes from our house tonight. His horns are in still in velvet & his white & brown coloring is very rare in deer, let alone in this area of development & urban sprawl. What a beautiful site to see him grazing along the edge of the road. Native American's view albino deer as sacred - now I see why.

My only complaint is that my flash is reflecting in his eyes. Really need to learn how to shoot without a flash!
