Hej hej,
In the lovely country of Sweden we celebrate something called Midsummer, the longest day of the year. An old tradition that is very popular. In the good old times people were always wearing traditional folk clothing and danced around the midsummer pole (which apparently represents fertility so it is suppose to look like a penis). However, nowadays it is mostly just an excuse to meet friends, drink and eat. Potatoes and harring are classics. And people drink lots of schnaps etc. Actually it is still the day of the year when most children are "being made".
Ok, enough about that. I went to the archipelago outside Stockholm to meet up with old friends from Göteborg. It was really nice. We had low expectations for the weather, but it turned out ok at last. In Stockholm I also met up with friends I have met in Lund and in Singapore. I also had a mini-reunion with a friend from high school, ten years ago! And it was great meeting up with these people as well.
Now I have summer holidays and trying to enjoy my free days in copenhagen. Next week I am going to Roskilde music festival.
