My brother had kittens. Earlier I tried to cook some eggs, evidently some that had been given to him by someone who raises chickens. They tasted decidedly like fish, so I gave them to the kittehs. They nom nom nomed them up and were so happy they ran around playing.

As it was explained to me, the Ouachita native ammericans used to take saplings and tie them to the ground pointing in the general direction of the closest source of water. This could be one of those trees, or another tree could have fallen accross it and rotted off its end, either way, it was worth a photo.

One of the great things about riding down the miles and miles of roads is that you come around a corner, and the road periodically dissapears.

Some wells are too big to move. I wonder, if some future generation will find these and wonder at them the way we wonder at stonehenge.
