My camera came back. I was very happy. They seem to have fixed it quite well, and any badness in the following pictures is my fault, not the cameras.

This was their observation deck. The only thing I observed were plants, but it was still very pretty.
Something had a meal of a baby dear. I am gonna guess that it was a dog. And not a bear. Hiding in the bushes. Behind me.
What you probably don't see in this picture is a week or two old armadillo tracks. At least I am relatively sure. It could have been a tiny, tiny bear crouched in the woods. Somewhere behind me.
The proverbial path less traveled by. I really want to come back at some point when there aren't deer flies and the temp isn't 138 degrees.
This is their nature pier. It goes out over the lake and then snakes back around again for quite some ways.
The cat tails were bending in such a manner that they threatened to snatch you right off as you walked by.
Eventually I was spared the sun, but denied the hardy breeze, so I was, at this point, slightly damp.
The water in the marshy areas was not nearly as brackish as I expected it to be. I assume is connects to the lake somewhere.
Finally I staggered out to the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. My car. Wherein it is air conditioned. And there are no bears. Crouching behind the seat.
We went to the top of the hotel to try to catch the fireworks, but they were kind of distant. Otherwise it was very nice.
