Everyone has those friends with whom you almost never speak, but you know they will always be your friend no matter what. My buddies from high school, John and Ivan are such friends. Ivan gets a hair up his butt every couple of years and takes a jaunt across the continental U.S. coming from his home in Alaska to Georgia and all parts in between. He stopped over and spent two nights with me. We all went over to John's house and stayed up way too late (for a school night) having a blast.
