Bike Mecca - Amsterdam

My hometown Portland, Oregon (USA) loves to call itself "bike friendly", but I have to laugh at the idea after seeing the bicycle culture in Holland. Our bike lanes are afterthoughts drawn into a city that is designed for cars first, and everything else second. Amsterdam is the real deal.
